Who we are
What You Need Websites is a trading name of AI Elevation Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16067404. Registered office: 43A St Mary's Road, Market Harborough, LE16 7DS. AI Elevation Ltd are the data controller for the information described here.
Audit requests and messages
When you ask for a free audit or send a message, the details you type into the form are stored on this website's server and sent to us by email so that we can reply. We use them only to carry out the audit and reply to you, and delete them after 12 months.
Forms are checked for spam by Cloudflare Turnstile, which looks at how the page is used to tell people from automated programs.
Questions you ask on this website
If you use "Ask a question", the question you type and the answer are sent to Anthropic, PBC, who process them for us to write the answer from this website's pages. You do not need to give your name or contact details there, so please do not type personal information into it. We do not keep the conversation on this website.
We do this on the basis of legitimate interests: answering questions about our services when you ask them. Anthropic act as our processor under their Data Processing Addendum. They do not use your questions to train their models, and they delete them within 30 days, unless their safety checks flag a question as breaking their usage policy, when they may keep it for up to two years, or the law requires them to keep it.
Anthropic are based in the United States. Sending your question there is protected by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the standard contractual clauses, which form part of Anthropic's Data Processing Addendum.
To limit how many questions can be asked, the website keeps a scrambled code made from your connection address for up to one day. It does not store the address itself.
If we emailed you first
We email businesses whose contact details are published, for example on their own website, to offer a free website audit. We do this on the basis of legitimate interests. Every email tells you how to opt out, and if you do, we add your address to a list so that you are not contacted again.
Cookies
When you first visit, a banner asks whether we may use Google Analytics. No analytics cookie is set unless you agree.
- sg_consent: remembers your choice, for six months. It is set when you choose.
- _ga and _ga_LTRQ8LHCKY: set by Google Analytics only if you agree. They count visits and show which pages people look at, so we can improve the site. They do not tell us who you are, and they last up to two years.
Google Analytics is provided by Google, who process the visit information for us. This website uses no advertising cookies.
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings, also at the foot of every page.
